I read this to my tween kids. They loved the adventure. Good story. Good clean detective story- that is hard to find nowadays. I love Nancy Drew. Even though it was written quite a while back, my kids were always asking me to read another chapter.

Maria Nadia POSTORINO (PhD, Transport Engineering, University of Rome) has been an associate professor in the Transport Sector of the Department of Informatics, Mathematics, Electronics and Transport at the University of Reggio Calabria, Italy since 2002. She has worked on many research projects financed by national and local public bodies and companies, dating back to 1991, and has participated on various committees for organizing many scientific meetings. She is a member of the EURO Working Group on Urban Traffic and Transportation (since 1991), S.I.D.T. (Italian Society of Transport Instructors) (since 1993), and AET (Association for European Transport) since 1999). She has published more than 70 papers in journals and books of national and international interest. Her current research activity is mainly focused on: Air transport system models, particularly the analysis of airport nodes and their main problems; Transport demand evaluation and SP techniques; Performances and impacts on transportation system; and Public transport system analysis and simulation.

Relativistic kinematics; a guide to the kinematic problems o

This book is an excellent text on special relativity. It is not for beginners as it is not an introduction with lots of examples. It is, however, a excellent reference when reviewing the subject or getting solutions to common kinematic problems. It is too bad it is not in print at this time as it it often quoted as the text to use for solving problems in relativity for physicist.

Refreshing Viewpoint

Originating from a set of lectures given by the author at CERN, 1961-1962,
this book delivers the material from a refreshing point of view.
Blurb in New Scientist (Oct 1963) states: " Shows how many kinematic problems can be most easily
solved by describing them first in a frame of reference where they become simple and then setting up the
covariant, or invariant, generalization of that particular description."
Author: "...fills a gap between high-brow theory and the daily work in the laboratory."
Complete solutions are provided to some of the problem sets.
The first Chapter is a delightful exposition of Lorentz Transformations and Invariants (use made of ict).
Chapter Eight: Considerations on Relativistic Notation, author spends some time discussing alternative notation
used in the literature-- defining terms such as metric tensor, covariant, contravariant components ---ending with
the Electromagnetic Field Tensor.
Ninth Chapter discusses precession of the polarization of spin-one-half particle moving in electromagnetic field.
Very modern in spirit, clear and concise.

About the Author
Mary Hoffman has written over 90 books for children, that range from picture books to novels. Amazing Grace, first published in 1991, was commended for the Kate Greenaway Medal and has since become a modern classic. Together with its sequels, Grace and Family and Princess Grace, and the storybooks Starring Grace, Encore Grace and Bravo, Grace, it has sold around 1.5 million copies. Mary has also written the hugely successful Great Big Book of Families, illustrated by Ros Asquith, which is now in 15 editions worldwide. Her other books for Frances Lincoln include The Colour of Home, Kings and Queens of the Bible and An Angel Just Like Me. She lives in Oxfordshire with her husband and three Burmese cats, and has three grown-up children, all working in the arts. What you see is not what you get :(

Amazing Grace is a great story for young girls; however the picture of this version of the product is misleading. I thought i was buying the actual fully illustrated, colorful children's book version but instead i got a very small black and white non-illustrated copy of the play that cannot be used to read to children. Putting a picture of the awesome children's book version is deceptive and i want to return this virtually useless copy that i have. If you want to buy this book to read to kids make sure you read the product description carefully so that you are not mislead to buy this version.

Amazing Grace

This was definitely not the edition I thought I was ordering.
The item was described only as a paperback edition of the classic Amazing Grace.
This edition turned out to be a play.
The cover was b&w ,not in color as pictured, and there were no pictures in the book.
Very disappointed.

Jesse Keating

Jesse Keating is an accomplished Ansible user, contributor, and presenter. He has been an active member of the Linux and open source communities for over 15 years. He has first-hand experience with a variety of IT activities, software development, and large-scale system administration. He has presented at numerous conferences and meet-ups, and he has written many articles on a variety of topics. His professional Linux career started with Pogo Linux as a Lead Linux Engineer handling many duties, including building and managing automated installation systems. For 7 years, Jesse served at the Fedora Release Engineer as a senior software engineer at Red Hat. In 2012, he joined Rackspace to help manage Rackspace's public Cloud product, where he introduced the use of Ansible for the large-scale automation and orchestration of OpenStack-powered Clouds. Currently, he is a senior software engineer and the OpenStack release lead at Blue Box, an IBM company, where he continues to utilize Ansible to deploy and manage OpenStack Clouds. He has worked as technical editor on Red Hat Fedora and Enterprise Linux 4 Bible, A Practical Guide to Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4th Edition, Python: Create-Modify-Reuse, and Practical Virtualization Solutions: Virtualization from the Trenches. Excellent Resource

Dev-Ops is extremely demanding, the goal is to always automate system configuration for faster deployment. Ansible works rather well for this, I've used Puppet prior and wanted to read about Ansible and compare how they operate. It's hard to say if I will use it but having this book made a few things clear, both accomplish the same thing at the end of the day. The book was clear and detailed, I was able to work through it rather easily. I do feel the book helped me Master some knowledge on Ansible but I'm not an expert by far.

The book title says it all

Excellent resource on Ansible. I've read a number of documents and books on ansible and this one does by far the best job of explaining the depth and breadth of how to implement and leverage ansible for taking automation to a deep level. When I initially read the book I had a basic familiarity with using Ansible for automation. When I finished the book I had a much deeper level of understanding which allowed me to build several more complex use case in my production environment. Highly recommended.

Someone does need to investigate and explain better what is really going on

This book really explains a lot. I always wondered why I was around weird people and now I understand that a lot of people that I have had to live or work around were and are involved in various types of criminal syndicates and will not acknowledge that fact even though there actions, words, and deeds prove that they are what they really are. Someone does need to investigate and explain better what is really going on, however, it is hard since so many people are involved in such hardcore criminal endeavors and the true real criminals have evolved and have gotten much better at hiding from the military and civilian licensed law enforcement officers and have obviously become experts in surrounding, stalking, sneaking, and slandering there victims very well.

Required Text for Class

I was pleased to be able to rent this textbook, which is required for a class I am taking. It is rather expensive to have to purchase a book at full price, especially if you are taking more than one class. It's nice to have the option of renting. The book arrived in good condition, as promised. Interesting content. Recommended to those interested in learning more about leadership and how to develop their own skills in this area.

The book may ne strong and useful, however I desperately need to be able to use a VoiceOver, Text-to-speech or Audio book. I was utterly disappointed that no versions of this book were made compatible with text-to-speech by this publisher.
